Problem: We were being ranked as #3 or #4 for the Keyword - ‘Sex Toys’ for over 10 years. But post 7 Feb 2024, our rankings dropped significantly to #55 which looked very abnormal. We noticed that between 8 Feb to 16 Feb, these rankings were very volatile because every 15-20 minutes when we used to check SERPs in incognito mode, the rankings were different every time. Sometimes it was #18, sometimes it was #30, and sometimes it was #55. Today, 20 Feb 2024, our current rank for this keyword when we check in incognito mode is #51.

We reviewed the issue in-house and found some important events that happened in this timeframe are:
