I was born and grew up in the Netherlands, speaking both Dutch and Bosnian at home. Being bilingual created a natural affinity for languages and I fell in love with English along the way. I challenge myself every day by trying to think in all three languages, which also let me deal with my language studies in interesting ways. I have no real professional experience in translation, except for the university courses I took, but I believe this is a great way of gaining more experience in this field. I do assure you, however, that I am very precise and attentive to detail, and I take translation seriously. By giving me an opportunity, you will bring me closer to my goal of becoming a professional translator.
Since I have no real work experience, here are a few essays I wrote during my studies, to give you some insight into my language comprehension. These projects were part of two university courses I enjoyed - British and American cultural studies.
