Job description

The subject of the order is quite specific.

The contractor will receive two files. One is an editable docx in Polish, the other is a non-editable pdf in English. The pdf is a translation (from Polish to English) of a version of the docx file from a few months ago (before the revisions).

The task of the contractor is to unify the content of these files (complete the translation of the Polish version into English). The result of this work should be an editable docx file in English with footnotes and identical structure to the output text.

Although the output file operates with specialized musical language, the priority is not to be 100% consistent with the output text. Sentences can be rephrased, using a different array and simplifying vocabulary. The most important thing is to keep a similar volume in pages to the original, and use the same footnotes. This should be treated as a mostly free translation of a scientific work.

The existing content of the translation does not need to be corrected.

Number of texts: 1. This can be considered a specialized article, although the precision of the translation is not required, just to preserve the general sense.

The language of the text:

Language of the initial text: Polish. Language of the target text: English.

Number of characters:

In terms of volume, the translation will theoretically have to cover about 30 pages. In reality, it will be much less - there will also be captions to translate for a large number of pages with illustrated examples. I suppose that the real volume of the translation is about 20 pages.
